February 2006:
1,400+ pictures and video clips
February was a very difficult month. The presence of mold and water damage throughout the house continued to increase, due to water incursion and unseasonably warmer temperatures. The extent to which no one was prepared for and which became vociferously apparent once we received the microbiologists report from the initial contractor stating "that no persons (including pets) enter these areas until the remediation phase is complete". Below are some of the 1,400+ pictures taken in February. Photo documentation (over 1,000 images) of the entire site was taken by February 15, 2006. This documentation along with the report from the microbiologist revealed extensive water damage due to water incursion and extremely elevated humidity levels. The pictures below represent only a fraction of the damage, throughout the entire house, caused by the water incursion which resulted in removal of all drywall, insulation and other building materials. Along with the damage caused by the water incursion photo documentation of all the building materials and the condition of the site were taken on February 10, 13, 15 and again on February 26, 2006, a small portion of the pictures are presented below. More day to day details, time lines and pictures to come after the project has been completed.
